Stepping on the threshold of old age leaves most people with physical fitness problems, But there is also an 82 years old woman who with the help of her stick, beat a thief and forced him to flee.
An 82 years old woman from Uk tried to stop a robber with her stick from stealing money and more stuff from her shop.
The woman, june turner quoted him saying , i think he must have been quite shocked to see this because he would not expect that a woman of my age could cope like this.
The woman also suffered considerable injuries when she was knocked to the ground during protecting her money from the robber which gave the robber time to steal some money, and then he escaped with 50 pounds.
She added: He came to the shop and asked me for money which i refused. After that he started trying to take the money himself. At that point , it just came to my mind that i have to protect my money because we work hard to earn it.
According to the lady , she said that if anything like this happens in the future she will do the same but this time she will try to hit the thief with something heavy.
The 62 years old son of the woman, Alan said about his mother's bravery , she is brave but i hope she do not face such incident again in the future.
All this was captured in the shop's cctv , while the old woman's bravery was appreciated after the video surfaced.
Police on the other hand arrested the 28 years old thief, who is under investigation.
