A father in saudi arabia has set a new standard for giving a birthday gift to his son.
This funny and strange incident happened in saudi arabia where a saudi businessman mistakenly bought two air buses A350-1000 for his younger child's birthday as a gift.
The saudi man whose name is not disclosed is an inventor in the energy sector in saudi arabia. They were looking for small airplane models to gift their kid on his birthday,because their son's are keen on aviation.
The saudi man called airbus which is the world's second largest aerospace company, and asked them for the information about aircraft models. But because he did not know english well ,he could not explain his response correctly. The airbus support asked him many questions regarding the interior and design for their aircrafat.
Saudi sheikh thought that the company would make best model aircraft.When it came to pricing , airbus asked them for $ 365 million. The saudi man thought that even though it was very expensive,but it was still worth while. And they transferred the money from their account to the airbus.
The misunderstanding was discovered when a few months later, the air bus called them and told them that both of their air crafts were ready. The airbus asked them who would fly those planes.
The saudi man has kept the one Airbus himself and given the other to his cousin as a gift.
